Austin-based Progress Coffee + Beer is expanding to a new location in Buda at 750 FM 2001 and is slated to open Aug. 25, according to a news release.
The new location will have an indoor coffee bar with a walkup window for to-go orders, a back patio for outdoor seating and space for food trucks.
Progress Coffee + Beer offers a variety hot and cold coffee drinks, such as its signature Lightning Coffee and Lavender Agave Latte. Aside from coffee, Progress Coffee + Beer will also have a full bar featuring local beer and wine as well as cocktails.
Co-founder James Benson said the team has had many friends and family move south throughout the past couple of years, so Buda made “perfect sense.”
