Zablosky Film, a film-dedicated photo lab, will open in downtown San Marcos at 145 S. LBJ Drive on July 1.
Owner Eli Zablosky decided to open a photo lab because he thought it would be a good resource.
“It's a reviving art that people need other resources to pursue. Unless people are driving to Austin or San Antonio or they're a film student, they'll need help doing it,” Zablosky said.
Zablosky Film is the only photo lab dedicated to developing film and the only distributor of commercial and independent film stocks in San Marcos.
