Lamppost Coffee's downtown Round Rock location at 201 E. Main St., Ste. 101, has been temporarily closed by the Williamson County and Cities Health District Division of Environmental Health since Aug. 20. According to a notice posted on the door of the shop, Lamppost was given 45 days to get its plan review application approved by the WCCHD but did not get it done in time.
"We did not get it done in time, and we now have to close until they can approve and inspect us," the printed notice reads. "We are so sorry for the inconvenience, and we hope you will support one of our other locations while we work through this challenge."
A notice from the WCCHD is also posted on the door. It is unclear when this location of Lamppost Coffee will reopen.
Lamppost Coffee owner Bryan Burns did not respond to attempts to contact from Community Impact Newspaper regarding when the location may reopen.
