For some Round Rock-area children, Camp Doublecreek has been a yearly tradition for generations. The summer camp will celebrate its 50th anniversary this summer. Read on to learn more about the day camp and three other business updates from Round Rock and Pflugerville.

Anniversary: Camp Doublecreek

Camp Doublecreek will mark 50 years in business in June. The summer day camp is open for children ages 6-14 and features activities such as swimming, archery, arts and crafts, horsemanship and sports. 512-255-3661. www.campdoublecreek.com

Now open: Player’s Bar and Lounge

Now open: Fogonero Restaurant

A new Venezuelan food restaurant, Fogonero Restaurant, opened in February at 800 W. Pecan St., Pflugerville. Coming soon: Big Star Backyards

Austin-based business Big Star Backyards leased space at 4701 Priem Lane, Pflugerville. The site will be a secondary warehouse location where customers can visit by appointment to see hot tub models.
