  • Scope: replacement of nine butterfly valves with gate valves on a 36-inch transmission line near FM 1431

Design for expansion of Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Interceptor
  • Contractor: not yet contracted
  • Scope: interlocal agreement to design expansion and rehab of about 11,500 linear feet of a wastewater interceptor running parallel to Brushy Creek
  • Cost: 55.3% of total construction cost, project management
  • Funding source: TBD
Reuse water line extension
  • Contractor: Cash Construction
  • Scope: extension of a 24-inch reuse water line from Kenney Fort Boulevard to connect to a 16-inch reuse water line near Forest Creek Boulevard
  • Cost: $5.13 million
  • Funding source: self-financed water construction, Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART: Title XVI grant funding


What's next?

Round Rock Public Works Director Michael Thane said the city will consider a future item related to the regional wastewater interceptor project, as it proceeds through the design phase.
