The Round Rock Police Department is offering residents a safe place to receive their holiday deliveries this year through Operation Front Porch, running from Nov. 17-Dec. 19.

The free program lets Round Rock residents have packages shipped directly to the Round Rock Police Department to avoid porch theft.

How it works

Residents can ship packages using the following format and address:

Pickup hours
  • Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays (Dec. 6 & Dec. 13 only): 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Closed Sundays and Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 27–30)
What to bring
  • Government-issued ID
  • Proof of order or shipment
  • Parents picking up for children must show proof of guardianship or the child’s ID

To utilize the service, people must be Round Rock residents, packages must weigh under 50 pounds, the name the ID must match the shipping label and packages must be picked up within three days of arrival. The final pickup day is Dec. 19.
