A new Round Rock Public Library program will allow residents to check out books and movies, as well as sign up for library cards, at park pop-ups throughout the summer.

The details

The Library on the Go pilot program launched in May at Frontier Park. Its mission is to expand library services beyond the physical building and reach more residents that may have more barriers to access, according to a city news release.

Library on the Go will have pop-ups through August from 9 to 11 a.m. at Frontier Park and Mesa Village Park:
  • June 14 (Mesa Village)
  • June 28 (Frontier Park)
  • July 12 (Mesa Village)
  • July 26 (Frontier Park)
  • Aug. 9 (Mesa Village)
What residents need to know

To receive a library card, residents need to provide a government-issued ID. Book and movie checkouts require a library card.

Residents can return items directly to the library or at other Library on the Go dates.
