What will be your top priorities if you are elected?

My top priorities will be student-centered policies that promote equity and accessibility, transparent budgeting to ensure funds are used effectively, and strong support for teachers through competitive salaries and professional development. I am uniquely qualified as a fifth-generation educator, former Team Lead at Westwood, and mother of two RRISD students. What do you see as the greatest challenge for the district, and how will you improve it?

The greatest challenge for Texas schools is funding, and while advocacy is vital, teacher retention is also critical and close to my heart. By prioritizing faculty-led initiatives, offering competitive compensation, and fostering supportive work policies, we can retain quality educators, improve student outcomes, and ensure long-term success for our district.<br>
