What you need to know
RRISD's back-to-school event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Aug. 3 at Cedar Ridge High School, 2801 Gattis School Road, Round Rock. In addition to games and activities, the event will provide students and their families an opportunity receive vaccinations and sign up for other school services.

Activities planned for the event include the following:
- Vaccination clinic for eligible students
- Food available for cash purchase
- A YMCA rock climbing wall
- An interactive fire truck station
- Nail polish and temporary tattoos
- Live music
- Student and local performances
