After closing in 2020 due to staffing shortages, on-campus coffee shops at Round Rock ISD's McNeil, Round Rock and Westwood high schools are back up and running.

The latter is the latest to reopen, the district shared in April.

Food service company Aramark, which operates the coffee shops, was able to reopen them by launching a student job program, according to the district. Students hired to work for Java City will be paid $14 per hour.
