The deadline to file an application for candidacy in the regular election passed Aug. 22 at 5 p.m. There is still time to apply for candidacy in the special election for Round Rock ISD board of trustees Place 1, which closes Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.
Regular election filings show 13 people filed for candidacy, spread across four board positions. All positions are at-large, and applicants have until Aug. 26 to withdraw from the election, according to a district official.
