A Brazilian steakhouse chain is set to expand to Round Rock this summer.
What you need to know
Casa do Brasil will open in a space formerly home to the Cork & Barrel Pub in Round Rock, future general manager of the location Ali Momin confirmed to Community Impact via email.
About the business
The property was sold in a bankruptcy auction earlier this year. Filings show the buyer was Maurice Rosenstein, the same owner of the Casa do Brasil location in Waco.
Casa do Brasil offers authentic churrasco dining, in which premium cuts of meat are slow-roasted over an open flame and carved tableside.
Remember this?
Cork & Barrel closed last summer, following an announcement from owners Jay Kudla and Sam Darlington about their intention to sell the restaurant.
