A note posted to the restaurant's door stated that the location had been sold.

"We want to sincerely thank you for your support and loyalty over the years," the notice indicating the closure reads. "It has been a pleasure serving you and we are grateful for the relationships we've built with our wonderful customers."

The business offered a menu centered on fried chicken, with sides like french fries, fried okra, mashed potatoes and biscuits.
