Back Porch Social
Johnny Ontiveros, the owner of Recuerdos Tex-Mex and Rockey’s Piano Bar, is targeting a June opening for his new bar and restaurant, Back Porch Social, to be located at 309 W. Liberty Ave., Round Rock. Back Porch will have an arcade, and the menu will include funnel cakes, corn dogs and mozzarella sticks.
Summer Moon Coffee
The second Round Rock location of Summer Moon Coffee held a grand opening April 22 at 3800 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Ste. 100, Round Rock. The coffee shop offers hot and iced beverages, organic coffee, a signature sweet cream Moon Milk, breakfast tacos, donuts, and assorted pastries. Blue Fin Sushi and Ramen
Bluefin Sushi & Ramen opened in Round Rock at 2200 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Ste. 125, on April 7. Bluefin serves ramen, sushi and poke bowls in addition to a variety of sashimi. Owned by Lily Resto and Andrew Dinata, this is the third Austin-area location. Drinkle Coffee
Hema Kannan and Kannan Radhakrishnan opened Drinkle Coffee on Feb. 15 at 601 Conservation Drive, Austin. Formerly the Brushy Creek Cafe, the new owners took over in mid-2022. The coffee shop offers a variety of coffee beverages, including its signature Selfieccino, a latte with an image printed in the foam, as well as tea and kombucha.
