The Round Rock Chamber 58th Annual Business Awards was held at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Round Rock Feb. 5, celebrating the community’s most accomplished businesses, leaders and organizations.

Overview
Frost Bank was named the Round Rock Chamber’s Business of the Year. Other finalists included A+ Federal Credit Union and Texas Baptist Children’s Home.
The Best Place to Work award was given to Express Commercial Cleaning, with Hearthstone Nursing & Rehabilitation and the Round Rock Area Serving Center also being named finalists.
Purely Provisions received the Newcomer of the Year award. The local eater on Main Street was named a finalist along with Beacon Hospice and Coffee Milk Media.
The Big Boy Hester Small Business of the Year award was given to No Time for Social. The other finalists were Spencer Pierce Architecture + Interiors and Stone Cash Coffee.
Julie Sharifian, of Corridor Title, was named the Investor of the Year. Also in the running were Bill Combes, with No Time for Social, and Bryan Eisenberg, of A Place at Home.
Eisenberg was named the Entrepreneur of the Year. Combes and Michelle Ly, owner of The Rock Sports Bar, were named finalists.
The Chamber’s Emerging Leader award was given to Lucia Murguia, of Westwood Professional Services. Tanner O’Brien, of ActionCOACH Central Texas, and Batya Porter, with Horizon Realty, were also named finalists.
Stephanie Tyler, with Round the Rock, was named Ambassador of the Year. Also in the running were Eisenberg and Don Sesler, of Sageplan Technology Consulting.
What else?
The Chamber also celebrated its Citizen of the Year and Lifetime Achievement awards. Selicia Sanchez-Adame, with Think Group, received the Citizen of the Year honors. Meanwhile, Debbie Rippstein Bond, with Texas Baptist Children’s Home, received the Lifetime Achievement award.
In case you missed it
Frost Bank is in the middle of an expansion, opening new locations throughout Central Texas. Recently, the bank made plans to open a new Round Rock location near the intersection of East Palm Valley Boulevard and A.W. Grimes Boulevard.
The Round Rock Area Serving Center has been undergoing a major expansion. In 2022, the nonprofit organization broke ground on a 16,000-square-foot space to serve as its resale shop and allow the center to expand its food pantry.
Newcomer of the Year, Purely Provisions, opened in the late spring of 2025. The business serves coffee, cocktails, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu features burgers, fish tacos, sandwiches, salads, Caprese flatbread and more.
