Serenada Mental Health


The practice, led by Tabitha Ross, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, opened in October near the border of Georgetown and Round Rock. Ross treats adults with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and more.

The clinic utilizes a holistic mental health approach, which includes diagnostics, therapy, lifestyle guidance and medication management. Treatments offered include Spravato, a nasal spray that targets treatment-resistant depression, and sublingual ketamine.Surfing Crab

The restaurant specializes in seafood, including crab, shrimp, oysters, calamari, lobster, catfish and more. Customers can choose from fried baskets, po'boys, boiled seafood and other options.

Construction is expected to begin December 2025, though company officials said the opening timeline is still being finalized.

The nonprofit organization supporting the Round Rock Fire Department held its first fundraising event in November.

Founded this year by RRFD Assistant Chief Wylie and Diedra Brownell, the foundation will provide funding for medical travel and care as well as home repairs following disasters and mental health support through the organization. In its first year, Brownell said the organization will help provide support with participation in a national conference for new cadets and their spouses.
