Trunk or Treat
The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department and Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital will host a Trunk or Treat Halloween event with decorated car trunks ready to hand out candy. People with disabilities and their families are welcome.

Penfold Theatre Company will present “Rosita y Conchita” featuring choreography by Round Rock Ballet Folklorico for young audiences. The play is set on the Mexican holiday of Dia de los Muertos and follows a young girl named “Conchita” whose sister has passed on. Tickets may be purchased in advance online.

The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department’s annual fall festival will have Minions-themed carnival games, a petting zoo, snacks and other surprises for toddlers and preschoolers. Guests are encouraged to wear a costume and bring a canned food item to donate to the Round Rock Area Serving Center’s food pantry.

A series of free concerts will be held in downtown Round Rock on Wednesdays this fall. Spanning all genres, the nine bands are set to perform at Prete Plaza starting in September and running through November. Hot Sauce ATX will take the stage next on Oct. 8. Lawn chairs are welcome.

The Round Rock Police Department, in partnership with the U.S. Army, will hold its annual food drive benefitting the Round Rock Area Serving Center. Donations of nonperishable food items will be collected at three H-E-B locations in Round Rock to go to low-income people and families in crisis situations.

The city of Round Rock will host the 21st annual Rockin’ Around the Holidays Bazaar at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center. Vendors will sell handcrafted items right in time for the holidays. Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item or boxes of colorful Band-Aids for the Children’s hospital.

The city of Round Rock will celebrate the grand opening of the new Lakeview Pavilion & Stage in Old Settlers Park, marking the completion of the park's improvement project. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a performance by Allen Stone and a fireworks display to conclude the evening.

Round Rock's annual Light Up the Lake is a two-day holiday festival at Old Settlers Park, taking place around the lake and festival area. The event will feature giant balloons over Bright Lake, live music on the new Lakeview Stage, a light show, and family activities. This is a walking event and pathways will include both sidewalks and grass terrain.

This family-friendly event features live performances by award-winning artists, all backed by full bands. In addition to the music, guests can explore artists and crafters, a farmers market, and a food and beverage garden offering craft beer and wines. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, but pets and coolers are not permitted. All performances are suitable for families.

Pflugerville and the Austin Astronomical Society will host a star party. Presenters use laser pointers to highlight celestial objects, and guests can view the night sky through telescopes or bring their own equipment. Chairs, blankets and snacks are permitted, but glass and dogs are not allowed in the athletic fields. Light refreshments will be provided.
