Urban Sips + Sweets will reopen in Hutto May 30 for its summer season, owner Holly Gebauer Lauritzen confirmed in a May 29 message to Community Impact Newspaper. Located at the H-E-B Plus storefront at 5000 Gattis School Road, Hutto, the shop will be open daily from noon-9 p.m. Alongside its staples such as Hawaiian Shave Ice and gourmet sodas, Urban Sips + Sweets has added salted caramels and frosted sugar cookies to its 2020 menu.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Urban Sips + Sweets will require all employees to undergo health screenings prior to their shifts as well as wear masks and gloves throughout. Line markers have been placed to uphold social distancing provisions, and the patio furniture and bar seating have been temporarily removed.
