The Globe Drive-In is set to reopen April 24 for social distancing-friendly outdoor movie screenings, owner Brett Williams confirmed April 16.

The outdoor venue, located at Brushy Creek Amphitheater, 1001 CR 137, Hutto, was deemed an essential business by Williamson County, alongside parks and golf courses.

To ensure customer and employee safety, patrons will be checked in through closed car windows and must remain in their vehicle at all times. Restrooms will be closed, and concessions are available to customers via online ordering and will be delivered to cars. All employees will be wearing masks and gloves.

Following its reopening April 24, The Globe Drive-In will operate Thursday through Sunday and will fill its line up with "feel-good movies," Williams said, as detailed below.
  • April 24: "Into the Spiderverse"
  • April 25: "Knives Out"
  • April 26: "Elf"
  • April 30: "Moana"
  • May 1: "Hocus Pocus"
  • May 2: "Raiders of The Lost Ark"
