2021-22 academic calendar approved for Round Rock ISD

The Round Rock ISD board of trustees adopted the district's 2021-22 academic calendar Feb. 20.

The district’s first day of school is scheduled for Aug. 18, 2021, and the 2021-22 school year will conclude May 26, 2022. The calendar also outlines districtwide vacation days as well as staff work days.

Vacation days

Sept. 6: Labor Day

Sept. 27: Student holiday, staff work day


Oct. 11: Student holiday, staff work day

Nov. 1: Student holiday, staff work day

Nov. 22-26: Thanksgiving break

Dec. 17: Student holiday, staff work day

Dec. 20-31: Winter break

Jan. 3-4: Student holiday, staff work day

Jan. 17: Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Feb. 21: Student holiday, staff work day

March 11: Student holiday, staff work day

March 14-18: Spring break

April 15: Student and staff holiday
