“We can’t stop the spread of this highly contagious disease without ramping up rapid results testing,” said Robert Sek, founder and CEO of Total Primary Care, in the release. “People who believe they may have been exposed to this virus need to take preventative measures to protect others immediately. They can’t afford to wait a week or longer before taking action if they are infected, and they don’t need to quarantine or miss work for 10 days if they are healthy.”
Rapid nasal swab antigen tests are recommended as options for individuals who were potentially exposed to a confirmed positive carrier, as well as for people traveling, returning to work or undergoing a medical procedure. Testing appointments can be made online and are available at 15 locations in the Austin area and all Dallas-Fort Worth clinics, per the release.
