Pflugerville City Council held a special meeting Saturday to interview candidates for interim city manager.
No action was made in the meeting. Mayor pro tem Omar Peña said council has talked to a few different candidates and is continuing to evaluate the options.
"When you are looking for the person that has the city experience and can manage a diverse population and council, that's a pretty small list," Peña said.
City Manager Brandon Wade
submitted his resignation in December. His official last day will be Feb. 4. Assistant City Manager Trey Fletcher will be acting city manager until Feb. 13, when council is scheduled to take action on the decision for an interim city manager.
