Updates on CIP projects included:


FM 1660 at Limmer Loop
  • Scope: construction of turn lanes and signal improvements
  • Status: complete
FM 1660 South at Hwy. 79
  • Scope: construction of turn lanes and signal improvements
  • Status: design complete, pending approval from Union Pacific Railroad. The project is expected to go out for bid in 2026.
Live Oak Street pavement reconstruction
  • Scope: design and construction to upgrade Live Oak Street from West Street to Fritz Park
  • Status: design in review while the city is working on right-of-way acquisition and utility coordination
Exchange Boulevard and Limmer Loop
  • Scope: improvements to the intersection of Exchange Boulevard and Limmer Loop
  • Status: complete
Exchange Boulevard Reconstruction
  • Scope: improvements to Exchange Boulevard from Hwy. 79 to Holland Street, including improvements at an intersection with Live Oak Street
  • Status: design completed, city is in the process of negotiating right-of-way acquisition
