Several road projects, including street maintenance and reconstruction, will affect traffic patterns in Pflugerville. The city advises residents to expect delays.

The details

An improvement project to widen Picadilly Drive, Central Commerce Drive and Royston Lane began Feb. 11. Construction also includes drainage, lighting and pedestrian features within the existing right of way, and will last until September 2026.

Street improvements in Pflugerville’s Historic Colored Addition will cause detours on the following streets in both directions until July 2026:
  • Russell Street
  • Caldwells Lane
  • Taylor Avenue
  • Lincoln Avenue
  • Grant Avenue
The project scope includes roadway reconstruction, utility improvements and installing solar street lights.

What else?


A street construction package began in January to implement a full-depth reconstruction, mill and overlay, and pavement reclamation of the following streets:
  • Algreg Street
  • Dalshank Street
  • Mashburn Street
  • Option Avenue
  • Sullivan Street
  • Grand National Avenue
  • Butler National Drive
  • Diablo Drive
  • Rowe Loop
Work will wrap up this August.

The Colorado Sands Drive and Copper Mine Drive intersection has also been under construction since October 2024, and will be complete in October 2025. The city advises residents to expect delays from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for the duration of the project.
