US men’s soccer team to visit Q2 Stadium this fall

Austin FC announced July 22 the men’s national team will host Jamaica for a FIFA World Cup qualifier game Oct. 7.

New Braunfels

Portion of Castell Avenue to be closed in New Braunfels beginning July 26


Beginning July 26 a portion of Castell Avenue located between Elm Street and Nacogdoches Street will be closed until Oct. 29.

Todd Dodge, Westlake High School football coach, announces retirement

After roughly eight years with Eanes ISD, Todd Dodge, head football coach and director of athletics at Westlake High School, announced his retirement during a July 22 press conference from Chaparral Stadium.
