April data shows rise in home sales, pending sales in Pflugerville and Hutto

With 375 new home listings added in April across both markets, the average days home spent on the market rose. In Hutto, the average time homes spent on the market reached 76 days—up from 46 days in April 2025. In Pflugerville, the average days homes spent on the market increased from 57 to 68.

Throughout the Austin metro, home sales rose by 2% year over year, while pending sales increased by 15.4% in April.

Vaike O’Grady, market research advisor at Unlock MLS, said buyers who have been delaying their home search took advantage of a temporary dip in mortgage rates earlier this year.

“That activity is now showing up in both pending and closed sales data,” O’Grady said in a news release. “Buyers are stepping back into the market with more urgency, especially when homes are priced correctly, and pending sales continue to be one of the clearest indicators of where the market is heading. April’s numbers show that confidence is building despite higher borrowing costs and ongoing economic uncertainty.”
