Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto residents have several opportunities to celebrate Independence Day this weekend. Here are a few Fourth of July events.

July 4: Hutto 4th of July Celebration

The city of Hutto will host a free Independence Day celebration on July 4 featuring live music, activities for kids, food trucks and a fireworks show. Parking will be available on-site; there will also be shuttles available from Hutto High School. The event has a clear bag policy for all attendees. 5-9:15 p.m. Free (admission). July 4: Sertoma July 4th Parade and Frontier Days

Round Rock's Sertoma July 4 Parade and Frontier Days will bring giant helium inflatables to the 1.5-mile stretch of Mays Street from Mays Crossing to Hwy. 79. Later in the day, Frontier Days at Old Settler’s Park will bring carnival rides, Swifty Swine pig races and local vendors. July 2-4: Red, White & Boom 4th of July Festival

In partnership with the city of Pflugerville, Typhoon Texas will hold a three-day Independence Day event with live entertainment, performance vendors and carnival themed-activities. The festivities will wrap up with a fireworks show July 4 and 9 p.m. For those not visiting the water park, designated fireworks parking and viewing areas will be available at Hendrickson High School, Stone Hill Town Center and Costco. 11 a.m.-8 p.m. (July 2-3), 11 a.m.-10 p.m. (July 4). July 4: Round Rock Express Independence Day Celebration

The Round Rock Express' July Fourth game against the Albuquerque Isotopes will be a special Independence Day game. The first 7,000 fans to arrive will receive a free miniature American flag, and the game will feature the season's largest postgame fireworks show.
