With all precincts reporting, incumbent Mike Snyder was reelected as the mayor of Hutto, according to unofficial election results.
Snyder received 1,077 votes, or 51.53% of the ballots cast. Henry Gideon received 1,013 votes, or 48.47% of the votes.
"I'm thankful for everybody that came out and supported me, and [I'm] looking forward to another three years," Snyder said. "I'm just really proud of everybody that was involved and all the help that they gave."
There will be a runoff election for Place 3 and Place 6 elections, as Hutto's bylaws require a majority vote to secure the win. According to unofficial results, Cory Denena leads the Place 3 election with a 44.07% majority and will go to a runoff election against Jim Morris, who received 42.9% of votes.
Amberley Kolar leads the Place 6 race with 48.25% of the votes and will runoff against Aaron King, who received 29.65% of the votes.

Early voting results for the May 3 election are in for three seats on Hutto City Council. Incumbent Mike Snyder leads the mayoral race against opposer Henry Gideon.
Jim Morris and Cory Denena are tied for Place 3, with Monekia Kea trailing behind. Incumbent Amberley Kolar leads the Place 6 seat against Brandon Deleon, Aaron King and Erin McGowan.
The breakdown
Snyder received 712 early votes, or 53.29%, of ballots cast. Gideon received 624, or 46.71%.
Morris and Denena received 585 early votes each, amounting to almost 90% of ballots cast. Kea received 145, or 11.03%. Kolar received 551 early votes, or 42.68% of ballots cast. Her opponents Deleon, King and McGowan received 298, 395 and 47 early votes, respectively.

Some context
Hutto voters reside in Williamson County. In early voting, there were 8,955 ballots cast countywide, which represents 3.19% of Williamson County's 280,561 eligible voters in the May 3 election.
