A 1.3-acre plot of land on the northeast corner of Colorado Sand Drive and East Pflugerville Parkway is planned to be the site of a new medical office.

At a Feb. 8 meeting, Pflugerville City Council approved a specific-use permit for the land, allowing developer JY Properties LLC to move forward with the project.

A presentation from JY Properties indicates the office will be a two-story, approximately 15,000-square-foot building with two available lease spaces.

"Next to the hospital, medical facilities are very much in demand in the community," Mayor Pro Tem Doug Weiss said.
