Pickleball players can get ready to wield their best paddle in Pflugerville, as a spacious indoor pickleball facility—Pickleland—is set to open by June.

Currently under construction, the facility will boast nine fully fenced and climate-controlled courts, properly spaced and level for the most ideal playing conditions, company founder Alejandro Rioja said.

"[My partner and I] play every day, and we wanted to build something that we're really proud of," Rioja said. "The goal is for us is to become the best place to play pickleball in Austin."

The company is currently hosting a contest in which participants have the chance to win a one-year membership to Pickleland.
