After several years of creating customized statues, including many of the hippo statues seen around Hutto, Set in Stone Statuary is opening its own storefront.

Owned by Greg Ray, the business specializes in the hippo statues, as the hippopotamus is the community mascot. However, the company will also design and paint a variety of figures, such as mermaids or dragons. All of its concrete statues are 3D printed, molded and poured in Hutto.
