Editor's note: The Aug. 11 5K for Clay event was listed in error and removed. However, the Clay Madsen Foundation will be hosting its 8th annual Boots and Barbecue event to fundraise for local families battling cancer in November.

The month of August is packed with events in the Round Rock, Pflugerville and Hutto areas. From fun runs to target practice; live music to outdoor trivia, there is plenty to do for north Austin metro residents.
