Omaha-based Plank Seafood Provisions opened its doors to customers March 29 at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace, Ste. 136, Austin, in The Domain. Japanese specialty pastry company Beard Papa’s opened its first Austin-area location in late March at 3220 Feathergrass Court, Ste. 138, Austin, in The Domain. Blue Sushi Sake Grill, part of the Flagship Restaurant Group, is scheduled to open its doors April 21 at The Domain. The Japanese seafood restaurant, to be located at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace, Ste. 144, Austin, will serve ethically sourced sushi with sashimi, nigiri and maki options. www.bluesushisakegrill.com


Austin-based bakery Rosen’s Bagel Co. has announced that it will open its first brick-and-mortar store later this summer at 11101 Burnet Road, Ste. 100, Austin. Rosen’s started operations in 2017 and has offered delivery and pickup of its bagels and cream cheese schmears at select locations.
