Teacher Heaven is permanently closing all of its locations, including its storefront in Northwest Austin at 8650 Spicewood Springs Road, Ste. 130. The independently owned retailer sold school and office supplies for teachers, including stationery, furniture, books, toys and more.

President and CEO Susan Savoie opened the first Teacher Heaven location in Austin in 1996, according to the company’s website. Teacher Heaven eventually expanded to include locations in Lubbock, Houston and Albuquerque.
