Texas barbecue and Vietnamese fusion restaurant Smokin Beauty will open by April at 11806 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, according to owners Matt and Thao Roth. The Roths are opening a brick-and-mortar location, after launching Ted’s Farm BBQ food truck in East Austin. Smokin Beauty will serve an expanded version of the Ted's Farm BBQ menu, featuring fusion items, such as smoked brisket banh mi, Vietnamese marinated short ribs, rice bowls and more. 512-436-9379. www.smokinbeautyatx.com
