Median housing prices in the 78750 zip code jumped by 69.32% in May, according to numbers provided by the Austin Board of REALTORS. This spike comes just after the same area saw a 29% jump in home prices in April.
No other zip code in the Northwest Austin area as defined by Community Impact Newspaper experienced a double-digit increase in the percentage of home prices in May, according to the data.
The figures also show that more than 50 homes sold in the 78759 zip code, up from the previous month.
