Austin community members can enjoy a range of events in March from comedy shows and creative workshops to film showcases and concerts. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.

Austin Entertains: A Night to Sip and Savor

Showcasing the Austin area’s top chefs, bartenders, spirit purveyors, winemakers, mixologists and industry leaders, the event will benefit the Junior League of Austin’s Signature Impact Programs. The first double-crown winner on TV-show RuPaul’s Drag Race will perform a stand up comedy set at The Domain. The drag queen was the first queen of color inducted into the Hall of Fame after winning the reality show’s All Stars season four.

Sips & Sounds Festival

The Coca-Cola event will showcase 17 artists including Halsey, Benson Boone, Khalid, AJR Gus Dapperton, Nessa Barrett and more.SXSW Conference and Festivals

From live music and local vendors to drink specials and a crawfish boil, participants can celebrate Mardi Gras at the Tech Ridge bar.

Chunky Blanket Workshop

Individuals ages 10 and up are welcome to learn how to create a knit blanket using step-by-step guidance, with all materials included. Blanket sizes will range from a lap throw to twin-sized. Snacks and drinks are allowed.Visible Mending Workshop

In the hands-on workshop, attendees will learn satin and buttonhole stitches, basic sashiko and decorative stitches to gain skills in functional embroidery. All supplies will be provided and participants are asked to bring clothing they would like to repair. Ages 10 and up are welcome.2025 ProRodeo and Concert


The annual Fair & Rodeo features a variety of attractions including a carnival, concerts, barbecue, mutton bustin’ and unique vendors selling items from cowboy boots to children’s toys.

The Bloody Mary Festival

With unlimited bloody marys, food and drinks provided by local companies, games and photo opportunities, participants can enjoy their Saturday at the annual event. The festival will benefit the Girls Empowerment Network, a nonprofit whose mission is to ignite the power in girls by teaching them self-efficacy.Austin FC vs San Diego FC

Austin FC will take on San Diego FC for the first time after San Diego FC began playing MLS.Pottery Party

The beginner-friendly class will show participants how to handbuild a pinch pot and sculpt and decorate their own pot into various functional pottery pieces including vases. Each participant will create and take home 1-2 pottery pieces.
