Locally owned bakery Cupprimo Cupcakery and Coffee House expanded its dining room space after original owners Amy and Brad Closson took over ownership of the company again. In an email to Community Impact Newspaper, Amy Closson said the expansion has doubled the size of Cupprimo’s service area, as well as its kitchen and storage space. The bakery opened the new space at 8650 Spicewood Springs Road, Ste. 105, Austin, on June 1.

“We wanted to greatly increase the seating capacity both inside and outside, as well as have the space to expand our product line. Having a larger kitchen and storage area allows Cupprimo to handle much larger cupcake orders for weddings, parties, company events and school functions,” Amy Closson said.

In addition to expanding the Cupprimo bakery, the Clossons are launching Cupprimo Sprinkles, a new business venture focused on finishing sprinkles for baking. The new business will sell colored sugar sprinkles and Jimmies.

The Clossons said Cupprimo Sprinkles will be available to purchase in-store sometime in August, but the company will launch its online store and Amazon page on Sept. 1 for wider distribution.
