The space is equipped with 36 beers on tap, an expansive back porch overlooking Quarry Lake and a Southern Cajun comfort food menu, manager Douglas Hoffman said.
Menu items include po’boys, burgers, tacos and chicken fried steak. Hoffman said the restaurant will eventually have specials.
An interior wall is adorned with board games, a nod to games featured at the original location on South Lamar Boulevard. The Quarry restaurant also will have outdoor games, such as cornhole and giant Jenga.
A grand opening celebration will happen in about one month, said Hoffman, who is managing the new restaurant with general manager Cassie Fox.
Happy hour is offered 4-7 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and 7-11 p.m. Sun.
