A new event center on Anderson Mill Road in Northwest Austin is offering parents an alternative to visiting Santa Claus at area malls. The Anderson Terrace Events & Wedding Venue opened over the summer at 11505 Anderson Mill Road, Austin. It offers space to accommodate seminars, workshops, birthday celebrations, family reunions, galas, fundraisers, quinceaneras, product launches, holiday parties and bar or bat mitzvahs. Photos with Santa are held from noon to 7 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday until Christmas. Residents are invited to bring their cameras, children and pets.
