Buffalo Wild Wings Go is slated to open next year in the Mueller area of Austin.

How it works

Customers can submit takeout and delivery orders through the Buffalo Wild Wings app or website, calling or visiting the store, or using a third-party delivery app like Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub. The to-go restaurant allows customers to pick up their meals using a locker system.

The restaurant serves different types of wings, crispy chicken dippers, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers.

"If you don't have that time to go into a full Buffalo Wild Wings, we came up with this concept to where you can order, get your food quick and go on about the day," said Donald Semien, chief operating officer of franchisee MJ Wings. "A lot of our lifestyles these days are on the go, so we wanted to make sure there was a concept that could support folks."

Buffalo Wild Wings is a national wings chain with locations across the country, some of which include full sports bars.


MJ Wings opened a Buffalo Wild Wings Go in Round Rock in November. The franchisee is planning to open Buffalo Wild Wings full sports bar locations in Hutto and Kyle in mid-2026 and Bastrop at the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027, Semien said.
