Tiny Grocer’s second location and its French restaurant, Bureau de Poste, opened Oct. 3 at 4300 Speedway in the former Hyde Park post office.

The new store is less tiny than owner Steph Steele’s original location on South Congress Avenue featuring over 3,000 products. The store has more options for flower arrangements, kids and pets items, and nonalcoholic beverages, and carries restaurant-grade kitchenware from Made In.

The new spot also has a deli counter serving up coffee, wine, made-to-order sandwiches and pastries from Gati and Swedish Hill.

In case you missed it

Tiny Grocer’s new location harbors a French bistro called Bureau de Poste, a new concept from "Top Chef" contestant Jo Chan. The menu features French classics, including escargot, French onion soup, beef tartare, steak frites and roasted chicken. The weekend brunch menu includes omelets, parfaits, crepes, tartines and more.

Some of the vinegars, oils and seasonings used in Bureau de Post’s dishes are stocked in the shelves at Tiny Grocer.

Bureau de Poste is open daily for dinner service from 5-10 p.m. and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for weekend brunch.
