Located at 5629 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin, the grocery store offers local farm-to-market produce and meats; Austin area-based snacks and drinks; a food counter with customizable made-to-order tacos, pizzas, burritos, salads and sandwiches; a smoothie bar; and a cafe, which is a new, scaled back Genuine Joe Coffeehouse location.
Lewa Owolabi, the founder of Ascend Area Market, the sustainable solution company behind the store, said the majority of items found at Street Corner Urban Market are local-, minority- and women-owned products. She wanted to fill the shelves with products that reflected the local community's needs and demographics.
Owolabi said her goal is to make Street Corner Urban Market fully Central Texas-based by late 2025.

Street Corner Urban Market is located in a suite under the REVL on Lamar apartment complex. Parking is free on the first floor of the building's attached parking garage.
