The city of Hutto, in association with Hutto ISD, won this year's Healthy at H-E-B Community Challenge in the small city category.

Hutto racked up 222,230 points in the annual challenge through its residents participating in healthy living and exercising initiatives. The city took the top spot with more than 40,000 points over the city of Elgin, which came in second place.

"We did well last year, but this year we really got serious about showing ourselves around the state," Hutto Mayor Debbie Holland said.

In winning the challenge, the city earned $1,000, which will go to support a project at Hutto High School.
