Accomplishments for 2011
- Opening of the U.S. Foods distribution plant, which is the second-largest food distributor in the country
- Completion of the first full year of the Buda Police Department
- Tourism—Launching a new brand, opening the Stagecoach House and Visitors Center and earning a Scenic City designation from Scenic Texas
- Updating the city's Comprehensive Plan

- Manage growth—Annexation Plan
- Water—Continue managing water resources during the drought and population growth
- Start major parks projects—Bradfield Village Park and the Jackson T. Norris Memorial Skate Park
- Community planning—Update Transportation Plan; the Parks Master Plan, amending the Unified Development Code; and create a Downtown Master Plan
- Infrastructure—Continue to grow and improve infrastructure of water, sewer and streets
