City Manager Robert Camareno said they are hoping to open the application process in mid-June or late June and leave it open for 30 days. He said they are targeting Aug. 10 as the date for council to make their appointments.
The city began discussing forming a charter review commission during a May 26 council meeting after officials discovered a conflict between the city charter and the Texas Constitution regarding the New Braunfels mayoral race.
