City officials said they are requesting proposals from applicants who have the ability to expand services, operations and hours for the two attractions.
“This is an exciting opportunity to take these two already popular attractions and, with the right vision, expand their services and create more opportunities for recreation and enjoyment within Landa Park,” Assistant City Manager Jared Werner said. “We are hopeful that a management company or other existing business has a vision for the future of these attractions and is ready to take them to the next level.”
The specifics
According to city officials, the management contract for the Landa Park Paddle Boats and Landa Park Miniature Golf Course includes admission and concessions as well as staffing, maintenance of infrastructure and customer service.
