In addition to brick-and-mortar restaurants, New Braunfels is also home to food trucks and food trailers that serve options from hot dogs to seafood. Truck owners regularly post their location on social media, and The New Braunfels Food Truck Association connects food trucks with catering and location opportunities. Below are just a few of the many options available in the New Braunfels area. This list is not comprehensive.

Often located at 1365 W. County Line Road, New Braunfels, 1836 BBQ offers smoked brisket, turkey, chicken wings, sausage and more. The business also hosts a livestream each Saturday through which viewers can learn to make a variety of recipes.

Coronado’s Sweet Heat BBQ

Owned by the Coronado brothers, this eatery serves Sweet Heat Baby Back Ribs, Cherry Glazed Pulled Pork, brisket, Blueberry Buckle and more. The trailer is located at 1920 S. Seguin Ave., New Braunfels, though the brothers also offer catering services.

Wurst in Gruene

Wurst in Gruene is a Bratwurst food truck parked inside Gruene Grove in Gruene. It serves German, Italian and American-style sausage, as well as house-made sauerkraut, German potato salad and curly fries. It is open at 1263 Gruene Road, New Braunfels.
