Care First Clinic held a groundbreaking in May for its new building, which is anticipated to open at the end of 2023.

Director of Operations James Shamard said the doctor’s office is moving to a new space because of how busy the clinic has been and being limited to the amount of patients who could be treated.

The new building will be 5,102 square feet compared to the 2,400-square-foot building at the existing location. Shamard said the new building will open up more room for additional providers.

Owned by Kaela Thurman, Care First Clinic is a primary and urgent care provider that treats wounds, allergies, infections and pain, and provides integrative care and wellness.

The clinic will be moving from 12701 W. Hwy. 29, Liberty Hill, to 12635 W. Hwy. 29.
