Why are you running for this position?
I am deeply committed to the success of LHISD, and will continue to work alongside our community to guide us through growth, change, and other challenges. I will work to ensure that every student has access to educational opportunities, teachers are supported, and our district is positioned for long-term success.
What is the biggest challenge facing the district and how would you address it?
Managing rapid growth while maintaining high-quality education, and ensuring our schools have the space, resources, and staff needed to support students without overcrowding. I will continue to work with long-range planning committees to identify future needs and opportunities while still being efficient with taxpayer funds.
What is something you want Liberty Hill ISD residents to know about you?
I am invested in LHISD, not just as a board member, but also as a parent, volunteer, and longtime resident. Every decision I make is rooted in what is best for our students, teachers, and families. I want LHISD to be a source of pride to our entire community.
What changes would you like to see addressed at the state level regarding public education?
Adequate funding of public education is needed so schools can keep up with growth, rising costs, and the needs of students and teachers. Otherwise, the burden falls heavily on local taxpayers. I will continue advocating for state investment in education to fund competitive teacher salaries, academic programs, and school safety.
